Calvin's Request

I am beginning to really think I will never understand children.  I've always known I was not good with them.

Yesterday, as we were eating lunch, Calvin requested that I make some blueberry muffins while he was at school.  So he could eat them when he came home; for snack.

After the whole pizza fiasco, I figured, why not?  He asked for it, he will/should eat it.  So, when he and Nolan came in from school I proudly showed them the muffins (which turned out great; fluffly and smooth).  Calvin was all excited; Nolan asked if they had chocolate in them.  Calvin took his first bite, then proceeded to pick out each of the blueberries as he came to them.  He ate two of them this way.

Nolan never ate one bite.

Should I just give up???

Teach them a real lesson. Bake "hamburger pie" or as you remember it, "dogfood".
THAT should teach them to complain about pizza.....of any type!

I remember getting my first glasses. I was eleven. After the exam I had to wait at least a week before I could pick them up in P'coal. On the way I was shocked, SHOCKD! that I could actuall see car tags, signs and peoples faces! When we got home I saw the grass for the first time! It was amazing!
I hope your experience with your "new" eyes will be just as revealing!

Good luck and may you see with clearness!

Jonas and Bella always tell me that they don't like my cooking and that is maybe why Jonas is so skinny. I told my husband that I have totally given up on cooking.
