Just a catalog for the week.

So, this week I didn't get to go on any field trips.
But, Calvin and Nolan did.

Calvin went to a place they call "Cottonwood". It's a place to splash around in the water this time of year. They were able to picnic and inspect animal life. They saw tadpoles and a toad...among other things. Anything that involves kids and water is not something I want to be involved in. All three kids have a field trip of that nature.

Nolan went to the "White Rocks" place that Calvin went to last week. But, it sounded like it was less structured for the 2nd graders. Nolan said they had to have a buddy, and they were able to walk around where they wanted to.

I have been stuck in the "family" garden for most of this week. This means that two mornings I woke up barely able to move. And every day required something for my hands at the end of it. Apparently, my hand are about 120 years old. Maybe they are hand-me-downs. Does anyone know of some lotion for arthritis in the hands? And to top that off, I everything will probably die. The soil is awful!! I have had very little, if any "help". Here's hoping we get something to eat from it. Goodness knows I'm about to quit paying the prices they have at the store. We'll be eating beans and rice and that's about it!

Anyway, I would post a picture of the garden, but it looks too bad.

I know I sound like a broken record, but in researching the whole castor oil thing I read some stuff that said you could rub it on your joints to relieve pain. Taking fish oil has helped Mom I think.
