I can't wait any longer. I must post my before and after pictures of the kitchen. Even though we technically are not quite finished. It has been such a LONG process. I wish I had a true "before" picture. When we moved in the cabinets were a medium shade of yellow-ish wood. I painted them and replaced the hardware within the first two weeks of living here (even though I was recovering from a c-section). That shows how much I disliked them. Anyway, cabinets used to extend over the stove and block off the dining area. I'm more for openness. Plus I need to see which kid(s) to smack for playing while eating.
I know, there's all kinds of clutter on the counters. I wanted to cover up that odd/ugly color. Plus, I needed more storage space.
Kudos to Will for installing the cabinets, and the sink, and the disposal, and doing all the plumbing and wiring for those. He's great! I did the tiling though. Yea me! There are a few more things we want to do, but this is such a drastic change (at least, I think it is) that I figured I would go ahead and post these.

I love the little tiles, how they're only all the way up over the sink. I think it looks really good!! Good job! You might be hired to come do mine, once I actually get one that is. :)
Wow! It looks great. That's awesome that Will is so handy. I am still going to drop by one of these days and see it in person!
