The holidays give me a reason to bake.
Even though, I really don't need one. I'll bake anyway!
We have the tree up (the half of it that we are putting up)
and it is now decorated. I would have waited another week, but I'm not in charge~ anymore~ of things like that. Anyway, we have three methods of counting-down the days. And we've got fudge, pretzels, and maybe even some cookies by tomorrow. I was thinking of trying to make caramels this year. We will see if I get around to that.
Our shopping is done.
The presents have started being wrapped.
So, what's left?
Just the fun! I'm still sad that the kids don't get out of school sooner. That means more baking and such will have to be done after school....or while they are gone.
It's cold, but not too cold. And there is no white stuff littering the ground outside!
