Here is Amelia's completed quilt. I am not good at quilting because I am not good at following directions completely. Halfway, sure; all the way, not a chance. Oh a whim a few months back, I got out a bunch of scrap material and started making the blocks. So easy! I had the tops done for about a month before finally getting back fabric. These are pretty large and all this material was adding up money-wise. Anyway, I ended up getting them fleece blankets to used for the baking. It worked great. And they are really soft! Since I am lazy and don't follow all the directions, these quilts are only "quilted" around the block out lines. Any seam. You'll have to look at Heidi's if you want to see real "quilting" and pretty design. As it is, I think I'll take a day or two before I start attaching the back to Julie's. Hers is pink.

I think if this next one it a girl, and I do her a Sunbonnet Su quilt, I will do what you did, and just quilt around the blocks. That or find someone else with a REAL quilting machine to do it for me. :) I like the idea of the fleece on the back though. They turned out cute, Jessie.
