Feel Like Posting Nothing

I feel like making a post, but I really have nothing to write about.
My life seems to forever and always be full of "hurry up and wait".  And that's what I've been doing for a few weeks now, waiting.
So, I'll tell you about our chickens.
We got 15 chicks at the very end of June, we lost two pretty quick and one a little later.
We are holding steady at a dozen though.
They are nearly full grown and Will thinks they are the best pets ever.
They are quite funny.  I'm not sure if all chickens are this way, or just ones raised by Amelia et al.  When anyone walks outside, even me who has never touched them, they all flock around and say hello and allow you to pick them up (if you try, which I don't).
They love the cat and dog food.  So much so, that we have had to ban them from the garage.
It is hilarious to watch them fight over whatever tiny creature they find.  They are totally free-range because we apparently can't contain them.  They put themselves to bed in their house each night.
A couple of their favorite perching places include the frame around my cherry bush, an attempt to save it from the goats.  And the stairs up to our deck.  I have a couple of pictures that I will try to post later of these places.  They often come up on our little porch when the front door is open to says hello at the screen.  It's pretty funny.
Now, can someone tell me how to potty/litter-box train them??  That seems to be the only issue.

In other news, we gave our goats away for three days following the birthing fiasco.  They came back and are much better trained and quieter, Will likes them more.  It seems like they thought they were in trouble and are now behaving because they like it here.  We think the other one might be pregnant, after seeing how skinny mom #1 is now.  However, someone might be coming to pick them both up this weekend.  We will see if Will allows them to leave....

Birthing fiasco? So apparently I'm WAY behind the times. I didn't even know you had goats. :D
