So, last Saturday I took the kids for a quick WM trip for some storage bins. I'm walking down the aisle and look up to see a beautiful crimson T-shirt and a matching cap on some man. The letters on the shirt, in beautiful white, read Alabama! I thought I was seeing things! I am in Richfield for crying out loud!!
Oh, but it was a sight for sore eyes!!
I was wearing my own crimson cap. A little taste of home, 2,000 miles away. We talked briefly, you know, said our "Roll Tides" and whatnot. I should have asked why he was in this town.
And come on, let's be realistic, if it had been blue and orange, it still would have been nice to see. (I do see those colors quite a bit due to Denver.)
Anyway, it sort of made my weekend. I watched so much football, I almost couldn't remember which teams I had seen play. And THAT spells a wonderful, fall weekend
(Until we went into a furniture store and Julie broke something, then I almost threw- up from embarrassment - but we'll pretend it didn't happen.)
