An Afternoon at Lake Powell....Almost

We had a field trip out to the airport by Lake Powell this weekend!!  We didn't actually make it to the lake though, we got a little distracted.

It was totally spontaneous.  We got there at a perfect time to watch a plane take off.  We went out so it would pass directly over our heads.  

The picture above is about 30 seconds before Calvin popped a wheelie on that thing!!!  He was also see moving from the front of the golf cart to the rear while it was moving.  Totally swinging along the side.  Maybe he will become a stunt-double or something.

And Nolan ever-present dream of driving was fulfilled....for a couple of hours.

All of the kids got a turn driving.  But Nolan was allowed to the most.  He is the oldest and the most responsible.

There was plenty of kickball to go around too.  Some of us were just learning how to play.
