It's a new year again and I have no resolutions....just like last year. Oh well. I did finally decide I wanted to do a split again last year, but I didn't end up following through on that. I got within an inch though!! We celebrated with games and party food. Right up until just before we all went to bed at 9pm. We were only shooting to celebrate with the East Coast anyway. At about 9:30pm I shouted, "Happy New Year!!" to the kids. So they thought they had made it until 10pm. Oh well. That's what happens when it falls on a Sunday and you are switching to an earlier meeting time.


The option of homeschooling has resurfaced in our house and we are considering it for real. From what I've seen, Utah is quite friendly for it. We will see. I find most of my thoughts are positive; except actually having all of them home all the time. But, I'm always bugged when it's time for school to start.

We are in full swing of planning and discussing Calvin's birthday and baptism. He is looking forward to it quite a a lot! He is very excited to start Scouts. too. We still have more than two weeks! He tends to get all excited and then have major let-downs when an event takes place.

I am tired of it being dark all the time. It's barely light when the kids walk up the driveway to catch the bus! I'm just ready for summer. And I guess I'm always ready for summer!!
